Passistas on the Science Channel's "Through the Wormhole" 

Did you catch Planeta Azul’s beautiful Passistas Samba dancers on the Science channel this July? A Love Letter to Brazil at the Jazz Showcase 

Catch Luciano Antonio and Neusa Sauer at Chicago's world-famous Jazz Showcase on July 15th, where he will perform "A Love Letter to Brazil." Luciano and Neusa will take you back 40, 50, and even 60 years ago to the golden years of Bossa Nova and MPB and samba music.

Chicago’s self-described “Brazilian Jazz Guy,” Luciano Antonio, took a field trip to Knox College in Galesburg, Ill., on Jan 11. Antonio was invited by Nikki Whittaker Malley, instructor in music and director of the jazz program at Knox, to participate in the first Knox Winter Jazz Series — an educational and performance project that aims to showcase innovative voices in jazz from global perspectives.
